Lucknow – Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya participated in the Viksit Bharat G20 program held today at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, under the chairmanship of Union Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju.He said that:• MNREGA was launched in 2006.• We are not against Mahatma Gandhi, but we are against the Congress party’s schemes that misused his name for corruption.• Rs. 11 lakh crore were siphoned off from MNREGA, and no development took place; we are against this.- What is wrong with providing 125 days of work to the poor instead of 100 days?- Why is Congress pained by the fact that the poor will receive their wages within 60 days with a guarantee?- What is wrong with the money being transferred directly to the accounts through DBT?- Modern technologies such as biometric verification, GIS-based mobile apps, and face recognition will be used in this.- Employment in villages will stop migration and lead to the development of villages.Also present on this occasion were Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju, Hon’ble Union Minister of State and BJP Uttar Pradesh State President Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, BJP National Secretary and Hon’ble Rajya Sabha MP Shri Surendra Singh Nagar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Brajesh Pathak, and other BJP Uttar Pradesh leaders.
